New Pads @ P-Tap
Team Grunt has the Go-Ahead Approval from Dr. Evil.
A phone message has been sent to Jim Myers to replentish the crush pile as well.
I need to nail down a date, when the crew can get this done. 6x6's have been donated graciously by Dr. Evil if needed. I also need a NAILED-DOWN date when this can be done to coordinate with State Park staff.
No interference sounds good to me.
If needed, we may possibly get a free fly-pad from the Evil-One!
Call me ASAP 443-398-6094

X-Calibur

The XCaliber is a very fast stable to overstable long distance driver. The XCaliber is a more stable version of the Destroyer. The flight characteristic of the XCaliber is a lot like a Max with more speed and more glide. Like the Destroyer, it is great for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power. Can handle headwinds and throws with off axis torque. Not recommended for beginning players.

Star Classic Roc/Champion

First came the “Classic Roc”. So named now because it set a benchmark for all discs from that time and for all discs yet to come. The Roc was born from the days of San Marino engraving and Innova setting the standards for consummate play and disc golf perfection. It came from this early success of the Roc that the next generation was born. Enter the 1988 San Marino Roc. 20 years later, Innova Champion Discs re-releases this classic mold with a final offering of the last in a series of discs benefiting the 2008 Japan Open. We will offer 421 Star and Champion San Marino Rocs with 12 different foil configurations stamped with 2 classic Japan Open designs. Every disc purchased earns the buyer a chance at a free round trip plane ticket to the 2008 Japan Open!
*Contest Rules And Regulations
The special Sakura or “Cherry Blossom” disc art brings to the disc golf world one of Japan’s oldest traditions. The Cherry Blossom is a rite of Spring, or the coming of a season filled with tranquility and happiness. Known in Japan as Sakura or Hanami, the Japanese enjoy the new years’ warm weather in the shade of this peaceful setting which can only be found in Japan. In a very limited release, you can own one of these discs surely to be a collector’s favorite.
The special “Dragon” disc art signifies a historic part of Japan’s centuries old history. In a very limited release, you can own one of these discs surely to be a collector’s favorite.

Interesting Read-Black ACE
We climbed a ridge and prepared to throw down the middle of the fairway on hole number four, which was 212 feet away. Carol stepped up to tee pad, did her usual mental gymnastics, extended the disc in front of her body with both hands, took a deep breath and threw.
It was a really nice shot — low and straight. It was soaring right toward the goal and we all sarted getting excited. The disc got closer and closer and then “rattled those chains” for a hole-in-one!
Several of us jumped up and down in excitement for Carol.
Unfortunately, some spoilsport in our group mentioned this fact: instead of traveling 212 feet, the disc actually reached disc catcher number three, about 100 feet to our left.
It was still a great shot, a once-in-a-lifetime shot. How many people can hit a goal when they are aiming at another in another direction?

" In Ohio we call that a "Black" ace. I once was in a tournament and a guy in my group threw two black aces in the same tournament, one in each round, in the same hole. What was more interesting is he hit his ace on a basket that had a garbage bag over it to indicate the basket was not in play. "
